Acceptable and Non-Acceptable Items

Waste Connections provides weekly curbside bulk and brush pickup on Wednesday.  A maximum of four (4) cubic yards of acceptable residential bulky items will be collected and should be neatly placed by curb and accessible to crew no later than 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled service day.  Below is a list of acceptable and not acceptable items. ACCEPTABLE BULK ITEMS (non-brush)

Mattress/Box Spring

Couches

Chairs

Bed Frames

Small Tables

Small Hutches

Small Dressers

Household Items

TV’s (screens must be broken out of older tube style TVs)

Carpet (cut in 4’ sections and taped or tied in a roll)

Appliances (dishwashers, washers, dryers, stoves)

ACCEPTABLE BRUSH

Contractor bags of leaves or yard clippings

Manageable Bundled Brush.  Excessive piles can be rescheduled to the next week for pickup

Tree trunks no larger than 8 inches in diameter.

UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS

Construction materials (sheetrock, plywood, boards, pallets, bricks, dirt, rocks)

Batteries

Liquid waste

Regulated Medical, Asbestos and Hazardous Waste

Propane tanks

Hot water heaters

Refrigerators or A/C units containing refrigerants. *Item must be red tagged by licensed professionals*

Lawn mowers

Paint or chemicals

Tires
